Grampian In the Big Steal

Grampian travelled to Royston on Saturday to take on JM Sports and were looking to maintain their unbeaten league record. The game started with both teams seeing their fare share of the ball and JM looked really up for the challenge and with in the first five minutes found themselves gifted a chance after a mix-up in the Grampian defence and JM striker made no mistake to put his side 1-0 up. The game continue to be an even affair but Grampian soon levelled when Wilbarham ran onto a through ball and fired into the bottom corner. With in minutes Grampian took the lead when Richardson played the ball to readon who volleyed home in style to give his side the lead. The second half started with Grampian being on top and Wilbarham cauesed problems on a number of occasion's but it was Sayers who dealt the lucky heather when he latched onto a cross to increase Grampian's lead. JM stillm tried to get back into the game and had several long range efforts but Dixon was in fine form in the Grampian goal. Paul Botten then killed the game off with a fine solo goal and with in minutes JM scored but it was Grampian who stole the points.
